Made some progress. Finished transmount and pulled the cab

Did some trading to get that one but it is very handy. Now just need a taller shop so I can use it all the way up

well its been awile but the frame it totaly stripped down got some rust repair on one cab mount to do then going to have it powercoated
ill try to get some pics up soon

well sadly i haven't done much to it. the chassis has been power coated and just sitting in my shop
its pretty though

id have to go look but think it was 177k pretty much original drivetrain except for an engine freshen up at 99 k due to a dropped valve was expecting a damaged piston so it was pulled out for a rebuild and oddly enough the intake valve hit piston once got bent and wedged under ex valve and did no other damage so it got the head fixed rings and bearings and ran well like a 351m always does slow from then on

I'd love to see a pic update! What plans do you have in the short term?

Very ironic, I'm rebuilding my dads truck he bought new in 1978. I learned to drive stick on it, so I have an attachment to it as well!

Good luck with your build!! Love to see people resurrecting the old iron!

No real progress been busy on other things but hope to start redoing the axles soon
