Something happened to the lock pin, probably easier to remove the switch and check it. The pin is spring loaded, probably just stuck.

That's what I figured. I did remove the switch and I still cannot get the rod locked in.
Any suggestions on where the best place to buy a repop switch and maybe a new rod?

I moved the switch next to the ignition key switch when I put the new column in. It actually seems to fit quite well. I need to install my tach when NVU sends it back.

No problem. I was in a pinch and I had extra parts so I made it work.

Took the truck to a local car show. Everything was good. Pulled the truck in the garage and noticed a burning rubber smell. Found the lower radiator hose shifted and was being cut into by the power steering pump. Oops!
Got a new hose on it today. Added a retainer with an isolator to keep it away from the pulley.

Found my high pressure power steering line was leaking. Rebuilt it with the extra PTFE Russell hose I had (and reused the 45* fittings)
Going to adjust the clutch cable tomorrow to address a high RPM grind when shifting.

How loud is that? I had to make full tail pipes just to get it reasonable inside the cab.
