JBA short headers,
With a Flowmaster 40 series with dual pipes dumping right out of the muffler.
I am planning to switch to a different muffler brand soon.

The stock cats need to go to see significant gains with shorties or to get much sound from an aftermarket muffler. Longtubes will produce the best and most noticable gains but you will be replacing the complete exhaust and fabricating your own mid section since nobody makes a bolt-on midpipe setup for longtubes on these 4x4 trucks.

I have BBK shorties. They are actually quieter than the stock manifolds. The sound is alot better though.
