What other projects keep you busy besides your truck?
Hey guys! Been a while since I posted around here. Still driving the ol 53 daily.
My wife's cousin gave us a hot tub back in Feb. Got it installed and then had to spend most of my summer working on a deck to surround it. Believe me, this has been the most expensive gift I have ever gotten. Here's a few pics of what I have done so far, just a little wiring needed to finish up.

That's what I've been doing for the last month or more......literally. Making hay. And fixing my antiquated machinery which seems to break down constantly. Farming is fun!" title="Evil Grin" class="inlineimg" border="0">

That's project enough Dick..... My divorce cost me lawyers fees and half of what I'd worked for all my life. Reminded me of this.... " Did you hear about the new 'Divorced Barbie'? She comes with all of Ken's **** " I have been involved in one cylinder farm engines, sometimes known as hit and miss engines. This lead to many other types of antique engines like this outboard motor that clamps onto the transom and turns it into an air boat. Built in 1920, presumably before they had lawyers. The big one someone gave me and I made the cylinder head. It's 8 hp weighs 2250 lbs was built in 1912. 6" bore, 12" stroke. I run it at about 75 rpms. Just got back last night from 4 days at a show I have not missed in 27 years.

A 1982 Honda CBX . 100 hp at 10.000 rpm . I have replaced brakes , tires , chain and rear sprocket , Corbin seat , and saddle bags . Also have the stock fairing to go on . I started riding 42 years ago and have owned all kinds and styles of bikes . This six cylinder beast is by far the most fun of them all . It is also rare and odd ball . That's what I like things that are different . First gear at about 7500 Rpms will hit 60 mph . I can't imagine 5th at 10.000 rpm . I will never see it .

Well, aside from trying to get Edith finished, and the continuing health problems, we just had 5 of Patti's 6 grandkids here for 2 weeks. Of course that was bookended by ole grandpa here do two 1180 mile weekends picking them up and returning them. This week we have been relaxing by cleaning out the barn. Every year here they have the The 127 Sale-The World's Longest Yard Sale which Patti has been doing since they started. I have avoided the sale since I have been here, but since I finished the bed on Edith I have not really done any wood work, so all of my wood working equipment was loaded up on the 18' trailer and is headed for the sale.
