LOL had a diehard Ford guy checking out the truck tonight at a local car show, telling me about his two 67 mustangs and how his dad was a master mechanic at a local Ford dealership for 30 years. Then he says "man this thing must go good with that 429 in there!"
Only takes a little blue paint to fool you Ford guys!

Moe the air cleaner is mounted to a bracket that bolts to the fuel rails, I dont have any good pictures but basically there is a bracket with a couple studs that mount the air cleaner base and a center piece with a stud for the center section of the air cleaner. I made one for my 47 caddy as well.

That one must be a Mopar Viper motor then eh!....lol

LOL nope, Packard!
That air cleaner, although correct for Cadillac, actually came off a 1955 packard I had years ago, wasnt much left when I was done with it.

Annual or so comment.. nothing to say other than the truck has been boring, I just drive it and have fun with it! When I did this truck there were a ton of build threads going which were great inspiration, hopefully they get bumped up once in awhile.

ahh truck #1...Believe it or not, I think the cab is ready for me to pick up and that truck will be finished just not this year. I like a lot of different vehicles so lately have been working on others including two trucks I started build threads on here but pushed off for the moment. Currently I am hot on building my 39 Buick coupe and then my 55 Buick after that. Truck #1 will be finished but I have to get excited for it again. If it starts to feel like work instead of fun I push it aside.
