Does anyone know if there's a mod kit that allows replacement for the rear Airbags on the 2002 Blackwood. the Monroe 900005 Kit is NOT for the Blackwood, which has a very unique rear suspension set-up. The Air bags (Pair)are ~ $589.00 from Suncore, ouch!
There is an Expedition/ Navigator Coil spring conversion kit, but it's for Coil spring set-up only with out the leaf spring & Control Arm set-up on the Blackwood.
The part where the bottom of the air smouns, shows no cup for a coil spring, so I would have to engineer something & weld it on to the Top of the U-bolts. Any suggestions? Has anyone ever done anything like this?

Hi there,

I got the 1998 F250 springs from a company in NC and they have worked fine. They ride a bit high for my taste, but a right height adjustor will correct that. I just haven't gotten a chance to do it. They snap into place with no issue. I installed them myself one saturday afternoon over a year ago.
