My wife's cousin gave us a hot tub back in Feb. Got it installed and then had to spend most of my summer working on a deck to surround it. Believe me, this has been the most expensive gift I have ever gotten. Here's a few pics of what I have done so far, just a little wiring needed to finish up.
Jeff, the deck looks awesome!

Retired and not sure how I got the things I needed done when I worked because I don't have enough time to do what needs to be done each day now. Wanted to travel more after retirement, but now we don't have the money to do much traveling.

Wife and I love working at a local Faith in Action Food Pantry providing food to families in need. Lots of hard time out there for people.

I call it work but I enjoy it too much to be stressed out by it. Here is some of what I have been doing the last few months. Right now working and a 15K sq ft home that I will be on until spring - a huge amount of very cool cherry cabinets all with inset door with a bead around each and every opening. Lots of arches. So far I have used 70 sheets of domestic cherry plywood and 500 bd ft of solid cherry. Well over a thousand feet of 1/4" x 3/4" cherry bead that I made. Keeping me busy.

First pic is a high rise panel job that I did with cherry and maple panels throughout.
Second pic is the 15K sq ft house, third and fourth are some of the cabinets in it.
Last pic is a 4' x 8' vanity that I did for a restaurant in their unisex bathroom

This is my main project for this year - It's a new NOT BIG ENOUGH garage - I moved the original garage back 36 ft and built an interconnected 28x35'9" garage with 10' walls in front of it - The 35'9" was to make it under a 1000 square ft so I didn't need a building permit - The Township was upset with me that I didn't register the original garage when it was built in 1954 - I told them that I was a six year old rebel at the time
Here is a link to some pictures

The only problem with that is you would have to park at the state park a half mile away and take a short boat ride to get to my home. Although we do it daily, it can be a hassle when we have several visitors.

Besides? In my case, instead of, may be more appropriate. I have acreage that requires mowing and brush cutting, an in ground pool, a deck that I have"redone" but needs replacing And as others have said my real job. I also have a 66 Mustang 2+2 that I haven’t worked on in 20 years that's"almost done".

I swear, by the time the snow flies, I WILL have my truck roadworthy again, and maybe the interior work completed. It won't be pretty but it should befunctional.<o></o

I am always amazed (but really shouldn't be) at the talent of everyone on this site, both automotive and otherwise (speaking of decks & impressive guitars).<o></o
