Rear pads are showing a 4 on the inspection report given to me by the dealer. Pretty much they will need serviced in the future but not right now. I will probably have them checked again in december and replaced if needed.

OK, so they are still in spec and safe. Time to start saving I guess. Hopefully its just pads and a rotor resurface.

Thats all it should be Tim. Probably not even turning the rotor. I am pretty easy on the brakes with the truck.Last time I had looked at the rear rotors myself they looked almost new.

Id turn it if you have a chance. Its cheap and you can seat the pads a lot better. Worth the $50.

I know Tim. Will probably have it turned no matter what at the pad change for the rears. Unless it warrants replacement.

True, its hard to tell nowadays. Turn or replace them. Really the only options.

Pretty much Tim. All depends on how much meat is left on them. Sometimes better to just replace them and then you know what you have.

Just saving up some money right now Tim. Also socking some extra money on the note so I can try and get it paid off a bit sooner. Other then that just picking out wheels and tires. And maybe ponder getting a supr duty in the next few years.

Definitely. If you are going to move up to a SD in a few years, might as well leave the wheels and tires alone since they wont carry over. Just MHO.

Thats why they are still a low priority Tim. If I go to a super duty no need to worry about that. I have a good idea of what I want in the next truck and a super duty fits the bill. Need an 8 foot bed and would like a crew cab. So have to go to a 250 at the minimum.

Might be worth looking around now, especially with the next gens coming out. Might be able to keep your payment near the same.

Im jonesing for a new ride too, but need to hold.
