sounds like ya'll are staying busy.. hope all goes good for ya rich and you can be states bound soon....
i got a little done today. i had to pull the gauge panel back out to check and clean the speedo cable and then fix 2 non working dash lights.. i removed the fuel tank again and cleaned the crap outta it so i hope i can drive it again soon without no problems.. but i need a new fuel sender float so the gauge will work... with just a few small items to fix and the 71 f100 should make a good daily driver... i had a bunch of folks at the swap meet check it out and they seemed surprised to see it wasnt just a old pile of junk like it looks to be, most seemed to really like it.. i put a "too" high price tag on it because i dont really wanna sell it just yet..

Sounds like the old truck is going to be a blast once you work out the minor hiccups.

I just got a wreck dumped on me that HAS to be done by Friday morning for it's highway patrol appointment. This is on top of my normal stuff that has to get done. Yay, me. It's an '07 Jeep Liberty that was punched in the front. (hard)

I didn't get anything done at the shop tonight because I had to go rescue one of Tiff's friends. She broke down in Springfield, so I had to go get her.

Chains and locks just keep honest people honest and slow down a crook just a bit. Hopefully long enough to get a bead on them.

Good Morning Everybody!

Off to the mad house today to see what I can get done. I have a couple things to do this morning before I dive into that wreck, so hopefully I can make some headway.

It was for me. I got the Jeep driving with cold A/C. They sent me the wrong header panel, or I would've been further along. The metal is so thin, what I thought was going to be hard, popped out pretty easily. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Good morning all, I get to take the Gates factory guy out on sales calls today on hydraulic hose, I already have Goodyear/Epix hydraulic crimpers at my major hydraulic consumers. Looks like this guy is going to be let down and I'll have a ride along to mess up my peace and quiet between sales calls.

alright got a question. Three times now while driving my truck the steering wheel has randomly started violently jerking back and forth enough so to make the whole thing shake badly. I had a friend that had this happen to their suburban back in high school but can't remember what it was. This is on my 2wd 89 f150

"Death wobble" is a common Dodge truck front end issue and also a sign of some thing bad/shot/worn out or loose. Insp things like radius arm bushings, shocks, ball joints, wheel bearings being way loose, bad tire from a separating tread. Tie rod ends, if it happened under braking maybe you have warped front rotors? Steering shaft rag joint, way out front end alignment. you know just the little things.

Or you were crossing rail road tracks

Hey yall I sold southern belle, sad day to see her go. I however bought a 98.5 4x4 sclb dodge cummins 24v. I bought it for 2500 and sent rich pics of it and is clean as a whistle now. I however am looking for some advice if I have a 2inch lvl kit in the front, my buddy has 35s on his, and I can fit 35s however I found some 315/75/r16? I believe for a decent price are those about the size of a 35? And does anybody know how bad they will rub?
