I wonder if they just got in a hurry with them since they made so many so fast that your set just slipped through the cracks and didn't get powder-coated right.

Also i remember some people wondering about mud packing in the step. This is what the inside of mine looked like

 

That's pretty insane! There was definitely something up with that PC job. People up North need to keep that back side with the pocket in mind too when the salt gets thrown!

No problem! I'm pretty convinced I just got a bad pair after seeing this new set. Gonna have to go take the truck off road and see how the new steps hold up. I think a desert trip is in order

 

Heck yeah man, put em to the test. Last evening whe the shop was mounting my new wheels they were being so careful.

I told them to not worry the next time I come in, as the wheels will get beat up offroad. They couldn't believe I would do that to my wheels, lol.
