Limestone Green Metallic 73-79's
Hey all, I'm new to the forum and have done a lot of searching but can't come up with much. My '73 F-250 project was originally "Limestone Green Metallic" from the factory. The only original paint left is inside the cab. I'd like to see some good pictures of a restored or very nice truck with this paint code. I have found a few small pictures here and there but nothing great. It seems the pics I've found are really faded original paint or the picture is bad/small and you can't really get a feel for how it really looks.
It seems that most folks repaint and get away from the '70's disco era paint colors, lol. I was originally intending to repaint my truck a dark metallic green or Deep Impact Blue, but I may go to the original color just because it is different from what is common out there.

The top one!
Hey 50tbrd88 – I’m new here too, and about a month ago Ipicked-up a pretty rough ’74 F100 which is Limestone green. As you said it’s faded badly (original paint) – but I’ve hit several panels with a buffer and compound, and it’s bringing it back nicely. The color is definitely growing on me! Bring on the bell-bottoms, Bee Gees, and Limestone Green!

Cool thanks. At this point if I do the Limestone green the body will be green with chrome molding in the dent and a Wimbledon white roof.
It is definitely different! I've seen some early body style Bronco's online that are that color and it looks pretty decent. What I like about it is that its something different from red or blue or black, etc.
