What style are the hubs? The big chrome ones with the plastic centers?

So yes, I fell off the edge of the earth. I had to come around the other side to get back on. I am still working on the shed rebuild and trying to get stuff out of the garage so I can get back to the truck!

WORK is a 4 letter word, unless of course, you are working on your truck. Since I retired, I discovered that I was "Born to Retire", and have finally been able to realize my destiny. I recently built a play house for my 3 year old granddaughter. On the box, it said from 3 to 8 years, and I put it together in 3 days. Must be some sort of record or something. I have offered my services to the manufacturer, to head up their customers help line. Purely oversight mind you, but still help..

Enjoy your build, and proceed at the Speed of Right, and you will be happy with the results..

Thanks Baja, I will remember that. I will also get you some pics of the parts once the axle is apart.

So the wife and I spent the long weekend starting the shed rebuild. Ended up basically removing the rear section of the shed, a 14' x 8' area that we thought only half needed to be done. So we got the walls framed and the roof and decking done. We started the siding but didn't get finished. There was way more damage than we originally thought, but at the same time we will end up with a much better product. I hope to have some pics to post shortly. Hope everyone had a great long weekend.

This is what the shed looked like after the tree met the roof.

Where we are after two weekends of work.

One side done.

Back wall done.

So this will become a half She Shed and half Truck storage shed. When ever we actually finish it! I am so tired of working on everything expect my truck!

I am surprised it was able to "stay up" as long as it did! Based on how much we have spent on fixing the building, I won't be a nice neighbor ever again. I will let the insurance companies fight it out since the tree was dead and the neighbor knew! The only reason the building was standing is the part the tree fell on I way overbuilt. The roof sheaving was 29/23 plywood, and I had the wall studs 12" on-center.

Trees that fall on your property, are yours for the keeping. Damages are the legal responsibility of the owner of the tree, but you get the firewood... at least in most states..
