Thanks Trozei I appreciate your comment.

68fish - I never did find the right brackets for power steering and air, so I ended up reworking the power steering bracket from a 390 so it would hold the steering pump and the compressor.

They seem to be as rare as hen's teeth.
I'll just use the Saginaw pump & bracket and get a custom hose made.

Got a little more done on the truck today. Installed the inter fenders and core support. I wanted something a little different so I painted them a hammered gray, textured finish look pretty good and still has a slick enough finish to wipe down easy.

I actually just got the fenders and grille shell on today, I still have to do a little more shimming to get it all where it needs to be.
After I got the fenders painted I decided to do some of the under hood wiring and finish the brake lines, so I wouldn't have to be leaning over the new painted fenders.
I ran a lot of the wiring under the interfenders and hide the relays for the headlights behind the battery and run the headlight and fog light wiring across the inside core of the core support. Anyway they are not the best but I took a few pictures with my phone so here they are.

Here is part of tomorrows project, installing the new KC headlights that UPS just delivered.

I have yet to install set of headlights with a built-in amber lamps and replaceable bulbs. But I recall while refinishing the buckets that the back holes are too small for the gasketed part of the lamp housings and they need to be opened up.

Gembone : They are homemade, I made them out of 3/8" Stainless tubing years ago. I had thought about using billet inserts but now that I see these in I might polish them a little and use them.

HIO Silver : I haven't installed any myself, but I will be able to tell you tomorrow night. The lights don't look as deep font to back as a regular sealed beam, but the gasket is pretty good size.

my grill is utter crap and needs replacing but decent inserts would take some of the focus off the broken grill. It has mesh inserts that are hard to see until you are right up on it. I don't like the stock inserts but yours looks good and was hoping I could find some.

Steel plate, 1/2-inch EMT (sand well to get rid of the galvanic treatment), and a MIG welder. Or it's time to learn to TIG weld....

I've been thinking of modifying a pair of inserts with fleece and resin to block off the unused areas out of the radiator's air stream... with maybe some round driving lights on the outboard sides. Dunno.. just another brainstorm.

Tube grilles are pretty easy to made. That would look pretty good working a set of driving lights into the grille, kind of like the Mustangs have.
