For those that didn't get a chance to see the truck and their coverage of the May Super Nationals on Dream Rides, Masters Entertainment Group just posted the show on You-Tube.

Does anyone know what Wilwood Manual Proportioning Valve Randal used, there are (3) selections;
1) 260-10922 Proportioning Valve, **** Style, 3/8-24 seats
2) 260-12627 Proportioning Valve, **** Style, 10mm x 1.00 seats
3) 260-8419 The lever “clicks” into the six positions for positive adjustment. Valves weigh only 6.1 ounces
(lever), and have two .25” side mounting holes spaced 1.00” apart. Inlet / outlet ports are 1/8-27 NPT
and valves are supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/-24 inverted flare female fittings that will fit most
domestic 3/16th hard brake lines
When I spoke with the Wilwood Tech, he seemed to think 260-10922, would be the most likely to work.

Any help appreciated !!!

Thanks !!! Michael

I think what matters more is which flaring tool(s) YOU have. The 260-10922 requires you to flare the tubing the standard inverted flare after you slide their fitting on . Where as the 260-12627 requires you to flare the tubing Bubble flare. That is the only difference between those two that I know of. IMHO I wouldn't get number 3. It only gives you 6 choices of adjustment.

Hey everybody,

So for those who don't know or know of me, I'm Randle's son, and I thought I would give you guys an update. We've been doing a bunch of work to the Model A and some touchup on the truck. We haven't been showing them like we had in years past, but we are still showing them. So far we have a few trophies, 1 best of show truck at a small show and both of us (I'm showing the truck while he shows the Model A) took top 25 points at a national show with between 350-450 vehicles. We are going to be at another show this weekend about 3 minutes from our house that always has a ton of cars. I'll share some pics soon of our handy work. Also, Gavin, sorry I missed you while you were at dad's. I meant to step down and introduce myself, just didn't get the chance. I did hear that you guys enjoyed riding around in the Model A .

Have fun guys... I'll post those pics soon.
