Clutch Pedal Free Play?

I just got my truck back from the shop and they put in a brand new clutch assembly and slave cylinder, but for some reason I can't drive it. The problem is the pedal. It doesn't engage until the pedal is all the way out. Is this normal? I have to let my foot off almost all the way before it engages! It's really hard to get the timing right because I was used to it engaging sooner.

Any help would be appreciated.

My mom also said that it feels a bit sloppy. Like it doesn't grab like it should? Could it be a problem with the flywheel?
