My wife's 2001 Escape's hatch does not open when it's hot outside. Very annoying. It works fine when it's been garaged, but when it's been in the store's parking lot, in the sun, the rear hatch does not open when you need it most.

After it's been in the garage again for about an hour, it works again. It's like a cruel joke. Stupid hatch. I've been putting off trying to fix it. I have bad luck with plastic door parts. Ugh, one of these days I'll tear into it.
