I have a 63 f100 styleside, and I'd love to convert it to a flareside. I might have a line on a 58 flareside bed. Will it bolt up and line up well enough? I've seen all kinds of beds and tailgate configuration, but I was hoping their might be some expertise from you fine folks to help me know what will and won't look, "right."

 

Im not 100% on this but I have a '66 F100 that I need a bed also. From what i have figured out so far a 1956 to 1972 will work. Mine has 6 bolts holding the bed on and thats how many bolts there are holding on the Style side beds on the ones I've seen. The only issue i can see is whether your bed has 4 or 6 bolts holding it on. hole location is the only issue you may have. I do hope someone who knows a lot about the Flareside bed posts some info as I also need as much information as possible. I have new bed wood that im scared to death at the thought of where or what is the best way to drill the bolt holes to mount the bed. I can turn a wrench but I'm no carpenter.
