Well, I just ordered a set of the Power Stop extreme towing/haul front brake kit. I know I'm hard on brakes as I just put new rotors on my Excursion.

We'll see how this new kit works, part of the problem is the non functional trailer brakes on my travel trailer. That will also be getting fixed.

I have the new brakes but I'm holding off installing until it gets consistent and annoying.

I rolled 58k last weekend, if summer ever comes I'll start racking up the miles.

I thought so, only missing the 91 F250 from that one.

I have a bunch of stacked up projects for the F150 but no time or energy to get them done darn it. Soon I hope!

Meanwhile a few photos for fun.

The F150 has been earning its keep the last 10 days. I took some vacation time from work and went camping and road tripping. 100 miles north, 150 miles south and many points in between!

I have a friend who owns a detail shop and does ceramic coating. July 19th I have an appointment to get it detailed, coated and I'm getting set up on a monthly detail so I won't ever have to worry about cleaning it myself haha

pictures in no specific order.

Towing in very warm for us conditions worried me a little, other then the trans temp spiking once on a long pull that had a lot of up and down shifting due to traffic she did great!

4 years to the day guys!!!! I love this truck more today then the first day I think. It's been super reliable, exceeding my overall expectations.

gas mileage has been great in my opinion for my during style and the 6.2L. Ride is smooth and controlled, part of that is the bilstine shocks (only on the rear right now).

power unloaded is fantastic! Towing is an absolute dream, tons of power, very stable and the transmission is awesome!

last weekend I took it 3 hours north camping, ran fantastic! I rolled 60k on my way home.

Congrats Russ on 4 years of ownership and making the 60K mile mark. I was on vacation for 12 days and last week my wife and I took a trip to eastern NY and I flipped 100K on mine. Hope that you have many more years of happy motoring.

Thank you, congratulations on the big 100! I also hope to have many more years with this truck. Its almost paid off and it's still one of the smoothest, most powerful and comfortable vehicles I've driven.

In celebration of 4 years I decided to do something I normally never would, I let someone else touch my truck. Earlier this year I met a guy who owns a detailing shop and specializes in more high end paint restoration, ceramic coating..ect. I decided to splurge and spend more then the amount of a monthly payment on getting it polished, detailed and ceramic coated I also signed up for a monthly detail service for $89 a month. I'll tell you I never believed the hype over ceramic coating until now. The paint is SO smooth and nothing sticks to it! He also did an amazing job on the interior, which by all accounts was mostly a little dusty but to me was filthy.

The only thing that bothers me currently is the drivers bed side, it just isn't right. I have a fund every month that I put a little into so hopefully in a year or so I can get the whole side repainted and blended correctly it really bothers me.

additionally I learned my lesson with cheap lights. When I got these headlights everyone said to seal them with RTV, well I only did the drivers. Last week in heavy rain the passenger headlight filled with water. I pulled it out and rocked a stock headlight for a few days so I could dry and seal it. It came out perfect and it back installed now.

Thanks Tiny, I could have sworn yesterday you had asked about how I sealed them but today nothing is showing. If you were interested I went around the entire light where the clear lens mets the housing with black RTV silicone. Been really rainy here and so far so good on the repair!

I'm absolutely in love! I spent the first half of the day at work driving our '13 EcoBoost and the second half driving my new 6.2, i know i made the right choice! This thing is a beast. I'm getting used to driving somthing with more then 4 gears..takes some getting used to all the shifting.

I have already installed my Retrax bed cover, the thing is 10 years old and spend the last decade on my grandpas 2004 f-150. gave her a nice bath..just have under the hood and some light interior cleaning to do. I have Husky molded splash guards on order, along with the wheel well liners for the rear. Other then adding HIDs or LEDs (have not decided) and blacking out the amber mirror reflector i dont think i'll do much to her...but that always changes

anyhow..pics!!

My grandpa just got his '08 sport trac yesterday, so being one is all white and the other all black i had to get pics together

2011 with 22K ? you scored a garage queen. Congrats.
