My '11 Limited F-150 #3679

i seem to be able to pull 12.3-12.8 in my typical around town driving, highway seems to jump up pretty quick to 15/16ish. Right in line with the EPA numbers listed for it of 12/16 and 13 mixed.
I've been a little easier on the gas pedal since i got pulled over for 84 in a 60 a week ago...

Russ, not sure if you're interested, but http://www.billetbadges.com/photoalb...57624525369422 makes a billet Raptor style 6.2L emblem, pretty sweet looking. They make all kinds of custom badges also....I know you said you thought the decals you had were a bit small.

oh my gawd!! I have GOT to get a set of those...i'm in love! haha
The 6.2 is defiantly the perfect engine choice for me, HUGE increase in MPG over my Excursion, that i am switching off daily driving with. The power on tap is just unreal..can't get enough.
I need to start getting ready for winter, the leaves are turning and temps dropping already. I kept my grandpa's 17" chrome steel wheels with 265/75 17 E rated Blizzak snow tires that he had for his old '04 F-150. I need to get the correct OEM lug nuts that will hold the center caps on the wheels and another center cap since he lost one last winter some how...Well i'm at it i'm going to put the correct TPMS sensors in the wheels to keep the yellow light on the dash off.
Not the prettiest wheels, but they will do. Might try to track down some Raptor wheels later down the road.

Will do, i'm not the biggest fan of the wheels but i could not pass up free wheels and like new snow tires. Between the snow tires and bed cover my Grandpa saved me roughly $3,000+ getting ready for winter. With the factory remote start i'm all ready for winter time!
Today i did my first oil change after the graphic showed up on the dash this morning. Ended up changing it at 24,675 miles, i'm planning on going to 31,675 (7,000 miles) we'll see how the trucks computer feels about that. the last oil change had been done just after it rolled 18,000 so that seems pretty close.
The 6.2 is a dream to change oil on, filter is very easy to reach at the front of the engine, the drain plug is in a great spot and flows out well without spills. Combine that with the fact it also uses a FL-820S oil filter...same as my 6.8 Excursion and 5.4 Expedition i'm real happy!! i was surprised by the 7 QT of oil that is required though.
On Friday i went out to the Alaska State Fair and took the F-150, damn thing got all muddy so today i had to wash it all up since we are having some nice weather finally.

Yours is just a countdown timer to 7,500 miles. Much simpler.
