Hey. So I have an 88 f250 4x4 5 speed, 460. I want to put a 7.3 powerstroke in it. Or IDI if that's easier... Anyone know or has done this swap have a cost and time estimate? Would be doing basically everything myself. Thanks.

 

idi would be the easiest.
the only thing you would need to do electrically is add a hook up for the glow plugs, and eliminate the fuel pumps.
you can get injector pump power from the ignition wire.
powerstroke would require adding the powerstroke wiring harness to the cab.
