I admittedly am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to how complicated machinery works and I found these to be very informative and really helped me understand the principles of they work.

So, is there an easy way to check if you have proper phasing? I'm pretty confident I got mine put together correctly, but if there is a simple test for it, it sure would be helpful.

I had to include the second video because I just love the explanation. The first time I saw it, maybe a year or so ago, I showed it to my wife. She has absolutely no desire to know anything about cars and trucks other than how comfortable the seats and environment controls work. She was actually quite interested in how the differential works. I was surprised.

 

Entertaining and informative! Should be required viewing for any first-time builder. Thanks for the contribution Bob.

 

The second one brought back memories. That motorcycle show is still in existence, I saw them in 1990 at the Black Hills motor Cycle Classic in Sturgis, SD.
