Reducing "plastic" feel of f-150 interior

I have a 92 f-150 that is really showing its age in the interior. This seems to be getting worse as the plastic cracks and flexes. My main complaints are the inside of the door and the dash.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I could reduce the aging plastic feel? I think I would ideally like a bare minimal interior with simple metal handles.

The metal handle part is easy, ones off a 80-86 are metal and a direct fit. One of the dash supports is known to crack, there was a repair kit for it but it's basically a L bracket.

yea I swapped the door handles, that definitely helps.

Any idea if there is a similar replacement for the window cranks?

Not sure what I can do about the door panel itself. It feels like the whole thing is flexing every time I close the door. Maybe some new clips/screws? I guess I just miss the old simple vinyl panels

Can't help you on the panel but I also need a solution. For the window cranks, I see no reason why the 80-86 ones won't fit. They'll look really out of place though.

Is there a screw visible in the finger pull pocket? That one missing screw can make the whole panel flex like you describe when pulling the door shut. Otherwise you may have to take the panel off and find out if the handle support is broken. Maybe the door structure itself is flexing and needs some bracing to stiffen it up. I know my doors flex inward in a major way from the electric motor torque when the window hits the top of its travel.
