First 4000 Mile Trip

We just towed our 32 foot travel trailer on a 4154 mile trip from Knoxville, TN to Steamboat Springs, CO, Colorado Springs, CO, Raton, NM, and Canon City, CO. I averaged 11.3 MPG for the trip. I had plenty of power, even when climbing the passes in Colorado. I love my 2011 F250 Crew Cab! SRW, 4x4.

Glad to hear, we're about to go from DFW area to the Grand Canyon and back... My 2011 pulls like a beast!

Hey we are neighbors.

Next Friday we begin our 6000 mile trip to the Redwood Forest and back with a bunch of stops in between.

11.3mpg average would have me jumping for joy. Our truck is still brand new, only 2000 miles one it and 150 of that towing the 27' Puma. The computer showed 10mpg on that trip but don't know how acurate that is.

How much does you tt weigh?

Ken

We were in Steamboat Springs from June 22 to 27. Great place to visit. We hope to go back some day.

Only 8000lbs or so. I should have driven over a scale at one of the truck stops to check for sure.
