Unidentified Connection Fuel Bowl area

I figured out I have a fuel bowl value leak and I know what I am going to do to replace the valve. However, as I was determining the fluid in the valley I discovered it was diesel fuel.

Now I want to preface there was a repair completed by a shop where the HPOP was replaced a few months ago and have not experienced any problems (that I know of) where i am experiencing power loss or gauges not working. The reason I explain this is just to not leave anything out. Any ways I am trying to determine what the hell this connects too and was this an oversight by the repair shop to plug in.

In the photo one wire is red/yellow and the other appears to be black/yellow. I am sure someone may have a wiring diagram and may be able to provide some assistance. Understand this wire is in the fuel bowl area and based on the length I doubt it will reach any farther than the area of the turbo or the fuel bowl. I have looked all over the place and I do not see where this connection could be made. SO I am coming to the experts!!.

Does indeed look like the EBPV plug. You can leave it unplugged.

It controls the exhaust back pressure valve, which is actuated in cold climate. The EBPV can cause problems so some people unplug it anyway.

Just out of curiosity if I were to reconnect the EBPV solenoid where the hell is this connection? if I were looking at the fuel filter area would this be on the left or right and is this underneath in that spot where I need the great Kazoo (Flintstones) to get in there?

You guys are the best!!

Did you buy the truck used? I wonder if some one deleted the EBPV.
