Good Shop in Phoenix area
I had to take my truck in to get a new window made for the drivers door. The shop that I had used up to this point left me with a very bad taste so I looked for a new shop. It just so happened that I found a shop that is on this site from time to time. They did an awesome job. Treated me very fair on the price (shop labor rates are only $65/hr, compared to $100+). My truck was in the shop for just about 1 1/2 weeks, halfway through they called me to just let me know what was going on. Did the job to my satisfaction, and even adjusted the drivers door without an extra charge.
I know that most of you guys do your own work but for those of us that do not have the time, tools or ability all of those items are important. To this point every shop I went to I felt that the shop had the attitude that they were doing me a favor by working on my truck....this shop has it right....the customer is the reason they are in business.
The shop's name is Fat Fender Garage in the Gilbert/Mesa area.

Mike, I had a problem with my 46 Tudor and the power steering which is a Monte Carlo. I have had great experience with Red Mountain Tire and Auto at 6033 E McKellips Rd. Mesa. Some of these shops can't or won't works on old cars or Street Rods. But these guys will.

Another shop you might like is Industrial Chassis near Osborn and 35th Ave. in Phoenix. Steve is a good friend and has fixed the frame on my 48 F1 and installed his Dodge Dakota IFS and a great center tube cross member. Phone is 602-278-6800. He is a great fabricator and can do any chassis work.

I don't know the other places mentioned, but I agree with Mike about Fat Fender Garage in Gilbert. They specialize in building our kind of trucks, and they have done several smaller jobs on mine. They know what they are doing, and at a reasonable price. No website, but they are on Facebook. Plus the owner, Jason, is an FTE member.
