Took the family to the QUEEN concert in Dallas last night. Other than starting late, it was amazing.
Brian Mays (67 years old) still plays an amazing guitar and demonstrated his skills with a solo that went at least 20 minutes. And Roger Taylor smoked the drums along with is son.
Then there was Adam Lambert. I don't think there is another entertainer in world that could put is own stamp on Queen tunes and still honor the legacy of Freddie Mercury. I don't care for Lambert much but, the boy can sing and entertain. All the while holding true to the original songs.
For anybody that is a a Queen fan I recommend that you find a way to get to one of their remaining concerts. Hell, even for just a pure rocker. These old guys put up a big show and well worth the money.
