The wheels supplied on 1955 DRW F-350s are not widow makers. They are Budd #65340 which are 16" x 5.5" having the Firestone "RHP" side ring/lock ring design. Should be good to use if not damaged, rusted, etc. As said, they are all dangerous if not handled with care, aired in a cage, etc. Below is the "RHP" cross section diagram.



If you are able to find a set, tubeless 17.5" x 5.25" wheels were first offered as an option in 1956. They are Budd #71320 having six hand holes. A three hand hole version, #79120, was later substituted. Stu
