I have a 2005 XLT, 4x4 F-150 with a Daystar 2.5 inch leveling kit, I have stock 17 inch wheels and I'm wondering if I can make the 35 fit? I heard wheel spacers might work, and I don't really wanna take the fender flare route.. I was thinking about getting new wheels with a different offset. any suggestions?
35's will fit, but if you have stock gearing, especially 3.55:1 gears, i think you would be happier with 33's. Real knobby or aggressive 35's may require trimming but should fit on your stock rims.
The turning radius will be less. The tires might rub inner wheel wells. If the tires stick out slightly this will cause the doors, mirror to always get dirty from tires without flares or larger mud flaps.
