I have had had many trucks in my long life. I started off a dedicated Chevy man but have been a Ford fan for the past couple of decades.
All the trucks I have owned have been 1/2 ton. I have always wanted a diesel, but could not justify it. That changed yesterday when I got a 2015 Super Duty Platinum, beautiful white with dark tan interior. It had 7 miles on it when I picked it up. I loved it and got several compliments in the few hours I used it. It runs nd rides great but.....
Back to the dealer this AM. The My Touch DOES NOT WORK. AT ALL.
They will have to completely replace the module and it ill be in the shop for several days.
Needless to say I am not particularly happy about things. It should have never left the factory in that condition. What happened to QC? I trust that is not the harbinger of things to come. My 2009 F-150 had only one very minor problem the whole 5 years I owned it. I am not ready to go back to Chevy yet though.
Hopefully I will have some happier news to report next week.
I have a LOT to learn about diesels and there seems to be a lot of knowledge on this site.

I want to keep it stock except dress up items, at least for now. Don't want to void warranty.
Next up, driving lights. Any suggestions? Hellas, KC, PIAA, others? I just want to see further and dodge large objects in the road such as tires, deer, and the increasing feral hogs here in south GA. Need either street legal or quick off & on so as to not blind potential oncoming traffic.
Of course want to look good as well!
Thanks,
Nearly Normal Mike
