E4od transmission going fast in reverse

I have a 97 250 diesel with a rebuilt e40d transmission . The trans came out of a 97 parts truck I own .It work great in the parts truck. I put the trans in my truck and it start pulling fast in reverse when it gets warm. When it is first crank it works great but when truck heats up the trans go fast. When you put the truck in reverse it stars out right then starts pulling faster. It has new fluid & filter and is a very clean trans on the inside. It works great in forward gears and shifts great. It pulls strong and smooth. Just reverse halls ***. If any you guys out there every seen this are maybe can offer some help I will love some info to maybe solve this problem. Thanks

May want to check the fluid level then. If it is low it could lock up the converter

Low fluid level is the most common reason for this.

The trans is full of a good grade oil. New filter ,and tc oil was change. I'm going to check the wiring harness & solenoid pack. I driving a lot of these fords as work trucks, never had one do this.

What do you mean by a good grade of oil? It needs to be MERCON or MERCON V.

The next step would be to put a pressure gauge (0-350 PSI) in the test port on the side of the trans. See what line pressure is doing in reverse.

I used MERCON oil no cheap stuff . Ok I will check the pressure . I'm just shock it work great in the truck I took then trans out of. I ran that parts truck around the dirt roads and the farm for hours playing and the trans work fine. Ran up the pave rd at night just to see how it drives at high speed and the trans work great . Just my luck but going to figure it out . Thank you

Got to love them fords.
