Fuel Pressure Switch Leaking Like A Sieve
#16
Pretty sure I drove it about 2,000 miles with the leak by the time I got it fixed today. Good news, is I didn't burn up. Bad news, the underside of my truck from front to back is a mess.
Here's the part. Didn't get a discount but they gave me $20 off on the fuel filter kit as I picked that up at the same time. Comes with the connector and pigtail as well.

Easy fix, thought I would get away without replacing the electrical connector but after all the diesel on the inside which basically destroys the rubber seal it only made sense to replace it.
You can get a 1-1/16" socket on it which makes the sensor easy to get in and out. Because my fuel filter has the screw that tightens up it is a little more tricky to get the socket over it.

108,000 miles on my truck, pretty sure warranty would be denied on this part in Canada at anything over 36,000 miles - the part is fuel delivery so I would be surprised to see it covered under power train warranty. I'm surprised to hear that you cover them up to 100,000.

I had this same problem over the weekend. Made it about 250 miles on a 474 mile trip before it happened. Everything was closed, so all i had was silicone on me. Dabbed the sensor with that to at least slow it down, which helped. Still drove all the way back home with it leaking. Yes, the whole undercarriage of the truck is covered in fuel.
