911 sent a punk kid in a 4x4 truck to the house, he said we had to have the driveway cleared before an engine would respond. I said send them in my other driveway that's cleared already. he said no. I told hem to get going then, and stop holding me up.

Doing good here, all good. All utilities are up and running. took a while, Verizon was here 2 full days, had to re do almost everything. Lightning hit so hard, it blew the lense off the electric blanket adjustment thingy, and accrossed the room. It actually unplugged the converter boxes from themselves.

Wanted to load a bunch of pictures, but for some reason that's not working tonight, maybe the router is bad too, IDK, it's the only thing left from before the storm

Was funny storm. we had just pulled up in the truck. Knew it was going to be bad, so I got Rollback from his pen, and headed for the house. He usually wants to walk, and fart around, but this time he was all out for the door, didn't even stop to p

No sooner did we get in the house, the rain started. I looked out the front, and the Bamboo was laying on the ground, the wind was blowing that hard. That's when the lightning hit the house, and all hell broke loose.
Honestly, I didn't hear the train noise, but that could be because we were in the house when it hit.

Main thing is that you all are OK, Charlie. Never thought that plugs could be blown out of their sockets , until it happened once to use, even fried the TV.

Been working on my truck and bronco a bit today. I got my fog lights fixed on the truck and am installing brighter reverse lights in the bumper. Yesterday I got my bronco running for the first time in years! Funny thing is the carb only has one bolt holding it in and its running just fine lol. It needs some serious tlc

 

Evening all. Found out today the breaker panel in the garage is toast. The tech in the house last 2 days said I would be finding a lot of surprises next few weeks.

House is pretty good now except for the siding, that will do until I get to it, it's not leaking, just unsightly
