Yeah Alan, but that was my boy, myself and hank our dog coming back from Lindenlure. We went swimming out there. Great day to swim , not tons of people out there like there most likely will be tomorrow. Our dog Hank can swim faster than my son or me can! Dang hunting dog! Lol! We came back though Sparta to check that land I was looking at, and to get something to eat. I did see the 3 dents side by side at Performance Inc. But I did not stop. Brandan hates my car talks that last hours when I say it will take 5 min. Haha :-!

Yea a lot different than what I had planned too, but its a chance to hang out with the grandson. So its all good in my book.

Guess I will take the Johnny cash approach to getting oll red back together.

If feels hot and muggy out there already, everyone stay cool.

Yeah it's like a swamp out this way already too. Supposed to be 90 something degrees today, and almost 100 tomorrow and crazy NC humidity.
Meeting with a few of the FTE guy's this morning and actually getting in some trigger time. Gonna make a couple of stops on the way out to Burlington NC, and just maybe snag some more .22LR's but at least some more 9mm, and .45 auto's.

Y'all stay cool today.

Unk Bob

Afternoon All!

I've been at it already. I welded the car lot's trailer back together and dropped it off. I went up to Springfield and dropped off our push mower so we can hopefully get a new one under warranty. It's in good shape and runs well other than the broken engine block. Then I picked up a new pump for my compressor at Harbor Freight. I need to get this thing back up and running for the marathon bodywork fest that's coming this week.

I'm gonna swap the grill and hood on Ka'Bluey back to the stuff Bob had in it before I start in on Bandit. I hope to have him shifting and gone this weekend. That's the plan, anyway.

I'm gonna finish my lunch and get back after it.

We're finally making headway on Yello'. It and Big Black are up for sale as soon as each is done. They're wanting to do some mods to the Mustang and her dad offered his 95 F350, powerchoke single wheel to them when they want it.

Well, I got the air compressor fixed and making air again. I didn't wrench on Ka'Bluey, but I did start up on Bandit again. I made the housing for the computer to sit in. It'll be mounted on the inner fender well on the driver's side. Now that the components have a place to go, I can actually start wiring it. Hopefully, it'll shift gears tomorrow night.

Afternoon all!

I got the computer permanently mounted in Bandit and started weeding through the harness.

I ran in to a guy I haven't seen in a while that owed me a couple engines, so I went and picked those up today too. (2 302 Fords) I'm sure one of them will end up in the '52 at some point.

As soon as I'm done with lunch I'm gonna get back on splicing wires.

i got a little done on the f100 and 51 chevy.. i replaced all the rubber fuel lines with new hose. added a couple of grommets to run the steel lines thru the cab to the outside.. i got the exhaust pipe built and installed for the dual exhaust.. had to cut the new one up a bit and make some doglegs to miss the cross members, but it looks real good.. i also made the brackets for the electric fan.. if i can get a condenser fitted on it then i can put the grille back in.. i was glad to finally see some progress..

Looks like my county road strikes again. Need to replace another lower ball joint in my truck. Of course it probably didn't help that I used Duralast for the lowers when I replaced them before. Oh well, the part is free due to lifetime warranty and it gives me an excuse to wipe the dust off the tool box and actually use some stuff out of it.

Been busy today...

The wife and I went on a field trip with the '87 and picked up the rest of the OSB for the shop floor, a couple more overhead lights, and some other odds and ends. Although it was a pretty good load of stuff, the old 300 just laughed at it.

After unloading all that, I ran and got a hub assembly for the Durango (can't stand the noise any longer) and swapped it out and changed the oil. There's a couple more odds and ends I'd like to do tonight, but I'm not sure how many I'll get to.

Rock on people!
