Whaddupp fellers
I'm still holding this chair down, and working on that coffee pot.
More storms here so it looks like we'll get some more packing done. Wall's and book case's a re almost bare, and we still have 6 weeks until we move.
Appointment this afternoon over a Recall notice we got about Shari's Escape. A Torque Sensor for that Electronic Controlled Power Steering crap. But it get's me out of the house, and I'll get to look at some new Ford toy's that are on the lot.

Y'all behave

Unk Bob

We got the Escape in for the Torque Sensor this afternoon, almost 45 minute repair.
Meanwhile Tim and I walked around looking at new F150's. I remember why I bought another used truck. There literally wasn't an F150 there that your average puts can buy, less than three that were under $50.000.00

Hope everybody had a good day.

That's nuts. Who is buying all these $50K + dollar trucks? I refuse to spend more on a truck than my first home.

Dave. I know, right? I can't justify spending anywhere NEAR that amount on a truck when I could build a truck from scratch for less than half of that price and use nicer materials to boot.

RC. It's kind of a good thing you didn't stop by. I was running all day and didn't get much of a chance to breathe.

Tomorrow I have to finish a set of spark plugs in a Nissan quest. I have three hours invested so far and I'm about half done. ....why so long? You have to disassemble the top half of the engine to get to the last three. ....that's two of the three pieces of the intake manifold, air box, and assorted other stuff. Who the heck though THAT was a good idea??!!

Alan - you ask such simple questions...

The engineer with his fancy degree from MIT or some nonsense didn't any problem at all with that arrangement.

i have always said that all automotive designers should have to work as a mechanic for a year or two before being allowed to design a vehicle.. when i build a car or truck i am am always thinking about having to do maintenance on it as i design it, and try to make things easy to work on..

Rc thanks for stopping by, I am always up for a JY crawl. More like run around like starving chickens looking for feed in the back of old Ford trucks. lol

My feet were screaming at me to "stay inside where the a/c is".
