Wheels for 2014 E-450 Cutaway (dually)
I'm looking for aftermarket wheels for 2014 e-450 motorhome. Specifically, I'd like to replace the steel wheels and simulators with black, aluminum wheels. Something like KMC XD Monsters. I'm hoping to keep the factory 225 tires and use the inner steel wheels. Can anyone provide insight regarding issues such as bore size, backspace, etc? It looks like some of the XD wheels available on ebay and amazon would work, but they don't provide much info such as backspacing.
Thanks in advance.

best you can do is go to a aftermarket wheel store and see what they call for. I have alcoa aluminums on the rig that the original owner put on. Look better than the liners but will be a PIA to do any rotating with!
You can also contact the company that advertises aluminum wheels in truck magazines, but except for some of the custom jobs dont think they will give any weight carrying ability, not sure however. Look at the truck mags, see what is there they always tell the brand of wheel on the vehicle.

Bryan, pick up a copy of the magazine Diesel Power. WalMart and any grocery store should have it.
There are several aftermarket wheel companies that cater to the 3/4 & 1-ton diesel truck crowd, and they make their wheels in various sizes, even up to the 24.5" size. The wheels are built to meet or exceed OE wheel load ratings. A quick call or email to these companies should get you what you need.
