If I have a 65 will I have to change out the I beams instead of just the brake parts? Is there a difference between the early 65 and the late 65 as far as changing the I beams?

I believe you can use the beams and all from the donor. If you need a set, I have several. I am located in Central Mississippi if you are close enough. Message me if so.

Welcome to FTE! And old thread revival! No worries, always good to see NumberDummy's posts!

65 - 79 I-beam swaps are all the same, as stated, and what I did also, was get a donor truck, you'll need proportioning valve and all sorts of things, having the donor right next to you is the easiest way. Also, rplc ALL the rubber brake lines while you're in there.

How many sets do you have and do you have many other 65 parts for a conversion? I live about 4 1/2 hours from you. My truck came from Mississippi earlier this year.
