275/65/R20 On Stock Rims/ECOBOOST

Time to replace the Pirellis on my 2011 SCREW 4X4 ECB 3.73 5.5 and looking at 275/65/R20s BFG Rugged Terrains on stock rims. Anyone aware of any probelms/issues with increase in tire size? Dealer/tire store says will fit on the rim/truck; any issues with the ECB? Change in performance/mileage with the ECB?

Tire weight is only 5lb increase from the Pirellis, but jump from 31.9" to 34.1" diameter.

Also, looking at a 1.5" or 2" front leveling kit with the new tires. Problems doing it with the ECB?

Your speedometer and odometer will be slightly off unless you get it recalibrated for the larger tires. Other than that there shouldn't be any issues.

I was going to go with the same size but decided on the 285/55/20. I have the Toyo Open Country AT2 extreme. There 10 ply and come with a 50,000mi warranty..

Looks good on those tires.

I haven't pulled the trigger but leaning towards installing a set of Bilstein shocks on the front with the BFG Rugged Terrains 275/65/R20.

That combo should look good. You may have to wait a while. I believe the 5100's are still on national backorder.
I run 295/60/20 with a 2" level. FWIW, I have a programmer that I recalibrated my speedometer with.

I have 275/65/20 Toyo Open Country A/T ll on my stock 20" wheels and another set on my summer 20" Moto metal wheels. I do have a 2" leveling kit. Only rubbing I have is on my summer wheels rubbing my Weathertech front mud flaps at full lock in reverse.

Nice pic. Thanks for the info, I'll check to see availability. That may change things slightly. What kind of lift did you install?

Narrowed down to an AS 1.5" or 2" front lift on the 275/65/20s. Took measurements from center of wheel to top of fender well - front 22", rear 24". Looks like the 2" lift would put it right on center with no front rake. Not sure I want to go with 2" because I do tow now and again and/or load up the bed with cargo and don't want to have too much sag in the rear.

How's the rear sag towing or with cargo in the bed?

I used Tuff Country 2" leveling kit. If I did tow I would put on a 2" block on the rear.

Thanks, I have an Autospring 2" level (front only). My truck had over 2.5" of rake stock, so I still have a little over .5" of rake.
