6.4 Powerstroke Bronco???
Question??? Has anyone seen or heard of ANYONE doing a 6.4 swap into a big Bronco?? I've seen the 7.3 swaps and the 4BT & 6BT swaps. To me....I would think the 6.4 would/should be next in line!! Got a friend down here and his 08 F350 is an absolute ROCKETSHIP! Granted....he's got a lot done to it.
I know the swap would have to similar to the 7.3 swaps. Is the 6.4 about the same dimensions as the 7.3??
Just questions that make yourself go......HMMMMM????? Any thoughts???

I've heard of the 6.0 swap too for Broncos. There was a write up on it in Diesel Power magazine.

I hadn't really thought about the 6.7 just because it's not built by International. From what I read and hear, it's all Ford. That being said.....I wouldn't really be opposed to it. I'm just wondering if it's "doable". I saw the write up on the 6.0 and kind of intriqued me. I kind of liked my 6.0 in my 2006 F350. Never had a problem out of it. Like that article said...the 6.0 is a little bit smaller in size and fits better than the 7.3 in the Bronco.
Just something I may keep on the back burner!!

A few things to remember that a guy once told me (He had a '01 7.3 in a '79 bronco.)
1) The 6.0 is also heavier so it would be wise to make sure you swap the suspension (He cut the front half of the SD frame and welded it to the bronco frame.)
2) The better 6.0s are after '03. The best way to tell is if they have a plug coming from the valve cover
3) The 7.3 is very reliable, but if you want a fast motor definately go with the 6.0.
