rear view mirror fell..

So like the title implies my rear view mirror fell. The metal piece was included. Im guessing it got too how Inside the truck causing the adhesive too quit. My question is there any special adhesive I should get or will super glue work?

Yup. Common. The auto parts store has it.

Funny.. I was just thinking on the way home from work, "every center mirror in every vehicle i even owned, the mirror fell, except this one.." And Bam, a post about it.. So that means mine will fall off tomorrow now.

Super glue will work for a while and in a pinch.. But will last any where from a week to 2 years. If you have it, Try it.. worry about it if it falls off again. (scrape clean. Alcohol clean. stick on) Just saw a show on myth busters, 1 drop held 600 pounds. lol. it was interesting and they moved on to a dozen drops ( i think ) and it lifted a car(big old station wagon)

Yeah had this happen in a previous vehicle. Auto parts store will hook you up. I remember I did have to do mine twice. It fell off again after I put it back up. Then it was fine.
