F600 Super Bronco build. Death Metal recommendations. Recipes.
Setting this up as my build thread:
Will try and be nice to people.
This supersedes DESERT RATS thread and any older build threads as this is a complete re-build. Stand by for pictures updated regularly.
My '60 Super Duty Crew Cab thread is on hold but not forgotten.
Technical Specs:
1979 Ford F600 Crew Cab frame and cab sourced from the desert north of Beatty Nevada. 9.25" tall, .250" ish wall frame. Shortened. Upcoming lift and POR 15 paint.
Military 5ton Rockwell axles. lockers. Custom steel 20" wheels (may be replaced later) Rockwell T136-27 transfer case.
1978 Bronco donor for rear body, and countless other parts donors.
460 is sold and will be getting a large diesel.
Cab free:
In garage finally:
Cut the frame down to crew cab bronco spec:
Removing a rear spring hanger:

Whew, when I saw it on the trailer and the thread title I thought it was becoming a sacrificial lamb. Looks to be a real solid Bronco.
