No more gapping spark plugs?

The multi point spark plugs are cool to throw money at but don't have any advantage over a standard plug, The voltage will only go to the lowest resistance point on the plug and every where else on the plug goes unused.... Unless you have a flux capacitor powered coil that can weld steel.

Actually some engines require them due to clearances or combustion chamber shape. Rotaries require them, and most Toyotas specify them. I have an Alfa 164 that requires them, and there is a huge difference between running the Golden Lodge or Torquemaster plus vs running conventional style plugs.

I didn't know what a Afla 164 was until I searched the Internet. The Wankel/Rotary engine has been something I've been researching lately just out of curiosity, it's fascinating to see how it works and I understand why a unique spark plug would be required.
I was referring to a little less exotic engine like a Ford truck or lawnmower.

best i even heard was at a swap meet around 10 years ago. the guy next to us had blown 460 parts, one of them being a 671 blower on a tunnel ram manifold with 2 giant holley carbs on top. a bunch of pants down reverse bill hat wearing wanabees walked past, and one got all excited and said "bro, do you think that will fit my Vtec?"
we were rolling on the ground laughing at that, and whenever "one of them" would walk past one of us would shout out "ya think that will fit my vtec", and the laughing would start all over again.
that was without a doubt the best weekend i had in a long time.
