Hello all! New member but not new to Ford trucks. My current truck is a 79 F250 I purchased last Saturday. 400 motor, 4 speed manual, etc. I bought the truck for a daily driver and to restore. The body and frame are VERY solid which is why I bought it. I looked for about 3 months and one turned up just down the road from me. Funny how that works. My wife's dad and uncle own a very nice and well liked body shop so I am very lucky. My father in law is also a VERY good and well respected mechanic.

Right now she is smoking a bit. I put some engine restore in but it didn't help. Sometimes it smokes a lot and other times not at all. Since it will be a daily driver and I need it to be super reliable it will most likely get a brand new motor. Happy to be on the site!
