No start, 2003 Ford Expedition
Hello all. I've seen posts about expeditions not starting. I went with the fuel pump failure. I replaced the fuel pump and it worked for a few weeks before the intermittent shut downs returned. Ultimately it shutoff and has not started. I looked at a blog that suggested it was relay R303. It turned out to be that. I ordered a replacement relay and soldered on the new part, put all fuses, and relays back on the fuse panel and reinstalled the fuse box. I tried to restart the truck and it would not start. It would not even crank. Before it only cranked now I only here a relay in the box engage. I also noticed that the odometer, trip, and compass are all dashes. Do I need to program the computer?

No you do not need to reprogram the computer. Have you verified all fuses are back in and all are good?

2003 Expedition Fuse Box Internal Relay Board
In case anyone else reads this, I watched a YouTube video where the guy took the fuse box apart and all these little clip things fell out. He said don't worry about them. Then he bought a new fuse box.
So I took my fuse box all apart, ordered the relay off ebay (a guy there has lots of them for $20), and soldered it in place. I had about 20 little clips that I couldn't figure out how they went back on so I left them out. I put the whole box back together and installed. Now the starter wouldn't turn, the radio wouldn't come on, and most of the fuses had no voltage. I took the fuse box back out and opened it back up. The little clips are the connectors for the big relays mounted to it. Insert a relay on the board and figure out the orientation of the little connector clips to see how they fit back on.
I'll try to add a picture.
