DESPERATE NEED DIESEL MECHANIC NORTH DALLAS

Hi All,
My husband bought a 2006 F250 in November. It has 206,000 miles on it and is an amazing truck. We bought two new batteries last week and then went to Colorado. No problems at all. Now the truck won't start? We really need to find an honest good diesel mechanic here in Dallas. We are almost in Plano area. AAA is pretty tight with towing distance. Any recommendations? Thank you so much!!!

hi there. we have a member (cheezit) and he used to be working as a ford senior master tech in diesels. however, he's doing something else. he's based in ft. worth, and if he was still in the business, i'd have told u to send ur truck to him. sorry bout tat. maybe someone who knows the area better may chime in. also, try posting ur symptoms in the 6.0 part of the forum. u might get more help there. i'm usually over there.

I own a shop in Abilene (I know too far away), but I will be in that area next weekend around the 27th. If you want to wait that long I'll help you out as much as I can

Not close to Plano but you might be able to call him and either get a pointer on what to look for or a shop closer to you.

no start could be a bunch of things. hook up a scanner to it and see if u can pull any codes. u don't need a CEL to throw codes. it could be ICP sensor, busted HPOP, etc. good luck. there might be some guys on here who may be closer and may get to u. hang in there.

Matt is a good guy. And active on some of the other forums as well. Honest and trustworth. Worth the extra distance to get the truck fixed
