2000 f150 4x4 noise when braking

I have a 2000 f150 4x4 with a 5.4 Triton. I had new brakes and rotors put on back in January. Then two weeks later heard a slight grinding noise from brakes when applied. Took truck back to the shop, they then turned new rotors and put on new pads. A week later same thing happened, took back to shop again and they turned them again. When I left the shop the noise was there when I applied brakes. I then took the rotors and brakes off, took them back to auto parts store and exchanged them for new and put them on myself. Noise still there. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time.

You have not zeroed in on the noise location or side, and any visual indication of the issue on the rotors or pads or even the shields.
Just replacing parts without finding the cause does not fix it as you found out.
Has anyone checked for a faulty front bearing pack on either side?
Seems like your shop is not giving very good service.
Turning rotors the second time in a short time, is not a good thing to do without find why it's needed.
Sorry to come down on this but some one has to do a better job.
Good luck.

I took mine somewhere to have the brakes put on for me and mine did the same thing but when I turned the wheels. After taking back to the shop and getting it back it was still doing it so I decided to look at it my self and found the dust sheild had gotten bent and was rubbing the rotor.

Check to see if the dust shields are rubbing on the rotors. They tend to rust pretty good and sometimes rub the rotors.

Your noise is not constant but its worth a check

Thanks for the feed back... A friend came over and we put truck on jack stands, pulled rotors and pads off, and found that the hub on drivers side was making a slight grinding noise when turning by hand. So, we pulled the hub off and changed with a new one from NAPA. So far no noise..Thanks.. Also, checked the dust shields.
