We made it back this afternoon, then back across town to get my boy (Dog) Rocky, so now we're all home.
We had a great time, played around in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood etc. Truck is dirty, bank is tapped, but a great time.
I'll see about getting some pictures up.

Im just trying to make it through wearing a security uniform until Saturday, when I switch into my company uniform and head to wilmington for the Police exec's Conference to try and drum up some business. Should be a good 5 days with my peoples. I have a feeling there will be quite a few shenanigans as well, just not sure I'll be able to remember them lol

What did you break now Larry?

G'Mornen everybody.

We are still looking at rental houses, more seriously. We were told yesterday that the home owner IS giving us a 60 day notice, that since we don't want to buy this house, they are going to move back in.
We're not sure where we even want to buy a place, so we're renting in different areas.
If you know of a place, or an area to check out, let me know.
Shari works at Duke Hospital, downtown Durham, so anything within a 30-45 minute drive would work.

Y'all have a safe day.

My ignition box has finally let go. It is what caused me to scratch in SC but I thought was a bad ground. But it died in the pit, and took me 10 mins to get it running to off load it Monday

I'm eyeballing a 97 Honda magna 750. Not sure what's gonna win right now... the fact I want it, or the fact I don't have time for another toy right now...

First street bike I bought in 88 was an 84 magna v45.
V-4 750cc. Purple as heck. Had little baby apes and a sissy bar. Fun bike.

Hope you find a new ignition box. Hope it doesn't sideline you for too long.

The ignition box is easy to find, bout $250 though.

As far as the bike, the wife wants a newer car that's better on fuel than her 05 ranger. So I guess selling it or trading it in comes before a bike.

Bob didn't you say your wife had a newer escape or am I mistaken? My wife is wanting to trade her 05 ranger in for a 08+ escape an I'm wondering if there's anything I need to specifically check on.

Looks like a nice place Bob. But apex ain't exactly close to Durham. Even if she takes 55 that's going to get old quick. Hope the commute doesn't wear her down.

Larry, I think Tony has a newer escape as well. Maybe they can both fill you in on details.

Y'all have a good week.
