New guy

Hey guys,

New to this section of the forum but not to the forum in general, been hanging around with the old farts for a while now with my '55 F250 flatbed.

Next week I'm taking delivery of an '07 SCREW F150, got a pretty good deal with only 30k on the clock. Has a 5.4, 4x4, Lariat, quite a good looker. Had the seller throw in an aftermarket warranty "just in case." I'll be taking it into the dealer to address anything that might fall under the warranty, anything in particular I need to be paying attention to? I know everyone will say swap the spark plugs if they haven't been changed out already. Anything else?

Also, I've been looking at Troyer Performance for their e-fan kit, as well as tuning. First I just wanted the e-fan, then I wanted Stage 1, then I figured if I want the fans and Stage 1, why not just go Stage 2? I am seeing if Troyer will do sort of a Stage 1+, that is the intake, exhaust, tuning, and e-fans, but NOT the underdrive pulleys. I really don't want to mess with the install (which I'm sure is not difficult), and I also don't want to risk under-charging, reduced P/S effectiveness, etc.

I'll toss some pics up once I get the truck, thanks for any input!

Has a 302/C4 combo, I'd hardly call it a barn find. Restoration was never really my intent either, just a little something to tinker with and joyride. It'll be getting a drop axle and disc brakes soon, other than that she'll stay more or less as you see.

Truck was delivered this morning and I think I'm in love. VERY happy with my purchase. I can see where guys say the stock tuning is trash though, you really can feel the flat spots in the 5.4's powerband. Nothing a little tuning can't fix though!

Here's a quick pic I snapped in the parking lot at lunch, I'll take some better ones later on.
