Anybody own a roll-up tonneau, any opinions about these things? I'd like to get a tonneau, but I hate the looks of the ones with snaps.

I have the Jackrabbit from Pace Edwards. It is real nice on the truck and handy for all types of loads. It takes up about 9 inches in front of the bed. I have had no problems with it and I have had it right at a year now. Really helps the mileage also.

Go to checkerpro.com. They have good quality tonneaus, but for real cheap.

I bought a LeBra brand for my '03 F-150 and I like it. No holes to drill, good fit and ease of installation & use are it's good points. Time will tell how it holds up but it seems pretty rugged. cost $189.00 pics of it here

Leroy,

Where did you buy your LeBra brand tonneau?

That price $189 seems pretty good.

I presume it is a snap on cover.

as I look at the receipt it was actually $199, but anyway, Pep Boys had it in stock. It's not snaps, this website describes it pretty good http://www.bestdarnparts.com/topmount.html

Leroy,

Thanks for the link. Looks a lot better than the snaps. My brother-in-law has the snaps and they seem like a pain.

And I have PepBoys in my area.

I think I will soon be the owner of a tonneau.

I am using a "Bed Locker" from Pace Edwards. It is an electric roll top cover and it works really well. It is 100% water tight, easy to install and keeps items in the bed very secure when used with a locking tailgate. Here is the link.....

I have a Access Roll up cover on my ranger. it works great, the sides seal with velcro all you have to do is roll it up. and you dont have to drill anything to mount it. it mounts with a clamp similar to the kind you would use on a topper. another thing good about it is it can be used with bed caps and bed rails. but its bad for me because my truck had a topper on it for about 106,000 miles and it has some paint coming off where the topper was, so i'm looking for some cheap bed caps. another downside is that it costs $429.00 but its a real nice cover.

Anybody use one with a toolbox? I have a Husky diamond treadplate box in my longbed, and would be interested in hearing your results.

XR4tiSam.....
I have wondered the same thing...if you put your toolbox to the very front of the truck and put the roll top right up against it? has anybody done this?

If you are refering to the Pace Edwards hard roll top or the others in that style, I have seen several that worked real well. Check it out with a local company and they will show you the setup. If it is the soft roll top types, it would all depend on the fit and seal at the tool box.

GO with a fold up one at peragon before the price goes up from the current $490!

Great price for a solid, foldable light weight tonneau cover! ($490 + $50 sh)!
