How long does it take you to think up these things to start threads about?

Easy... replace it. Done.
Waitaminute.... "Stop leak" ????
I'm thinkin' that's NOT a steering stabilizer. Rather, it's a power steering ram. Post a pic there sparky... let's be clear on what ya got.

A steering stabilizer is like a sealed shock absorber...you can not service it. It if is for sure leaking, its blown a seal, x2 on just replace it.
Look close, I bet the leak is your p/s pump or steering box...tighten ck the p/s lines. If its the input or output seal on the steering box, you can change the seal with the box installed on the truck.
If the truck is 4x4 and (depending on the year it could have either a Garrison or Bendix Power Assist P/S), and if that where its leaking, that's a whole other story

If the OP's
1974 F250 has 4WD, it could have either Garrison or Bendix Power Assist P/S.
1973, 1974 F250 4WD
before serial number T80,001: Garrison Power Assist P/S.
1974 F250 4WD
from serial number T80,001, 1975/76 and 1977 F250 4WD
before serial number Y20,001: Bendix Power Assist P/S.
From serial number Y20,001 (that occurred mid model year [February 1977]), there are no more High Boys.

Never, unfortunately. If it works at all, it plugs up the whole dang system.

Which power assist ram do you have? Some parts are available depending on if you have the bendix or garrison one.

Not according to
THIS THREAD . Serial number Y25209 was still a highboy made in March of '77.

Whatever you say kiddo, personally I could care less. I'm just relaying what the Ford parts catalog states.
