Motorcraft 2150 in nc? junkyards?

Hey guys,

Been too long. Kind of on a weird 3 month work journey. Anyway.... Don't know if this is the right spot for this.

I'm in Asheville and heading down to enc ( this weekend) and was wondering if anyone knew where to pick up an mc2150 carb. I just scored a 2100 that will not fit my intake (hooray me). The yards don't have any around here.

If anyone has any leads I'd appreciate it.

I also have a 289 intake and 2100 off a 66 Fairlane if anyone wants it. I've got 60 bucks in it and can drop it off on my cross state jount if it's going to a better home. Not looking to get rid of it but if it's going to get an old Ford on the road then I ain't going to stand in the way.

A 66 Fairlane??? Is a 2door or 4 door, Hardtop or sedan?
I'd love to have another 66 Fairlane.

I've got the whole thing from the intake up. Basically the whole car minus a few miscellaneous parts. Lol

Good morning Bob.

Can you tell me more about the car, maybe some pictures?
I'd really like to replace my 66 Fairlane 500 2door hardtop I drove as a teenager.
Bob

And good morning!

I was just joking about having everything from the intake up. All I have is the intake and carb. Humor doesn't always come through text unfortunately. Especially poor attempts at humor

Figures, those car's are hard to find. I paid $200 for mine when I was teenager. I didn't even want the car, but I had the money for it, and hated walking.

Someday I'll get another.

It's ok, I've been hit harder.
Now we're working on buying my 79 F150 4x4 back this winter. I sold it to help finance the move to NC.

I remember you talking about that. I'm excited for you. Tinkering on old carbd Ford trucks had become my thing lately.

I'll be in Durham for two months starting a month from now. Hopefully we can meet up this time
